I guess they can’t help it, but some bestselling rightwing authors have surprising tastes.
Ann Coulter: Louis Vuitton | Coulter (above) likes making fun of those pro-appeasement Frenchmen, but she’s also been caught on camera strolling around the Hamptons with her Louis Vuitton bag, and can’t resist French restaurants, where she praises “freedom fries” – just to stir the pot, our guess.
Jonah Goldberg: Whole Foods | But thankfully he doesn’t have a man bag, or drive a pious Prius, to the best of our knowledge. Whole Foods “where I shop frequently, by the way” admits Goldberg in Liberal Fascism is “fascinating.”
Michelle Malkin: Banana Republic | “I’ve got $50 Banana Republic flats, which I thought were a splurge until I saw the other Michelle’s footwear,” the budget conscious Michelle Malkin has blogged. She usually wears her “ratty old New Balance sneakers.”

The idea that the finer things should be reserved for anti-capitalists like Democrats/progressives/socialists/Marxists is totally nut. Totally backwards. I am conservative VERY (I find Palin to be just another big government politician) and have top European designers hanging in my closet.
It is hate-the-rich, hate-business liberals who are hypocrites for wearing anything beyond, let;s say, Target or Sears.

I don’t get it: is this supposed to be a criticism? Talk about a vapid observation. So Coulter likes Louis Vuitton, Goldberg (since when did he become a “girl”) likes Whole Foods and Malkin likes Banana Republic. Why would I not be surprised to find Sean Penn drinking Coors, Jane Fonda having a Godfather’s pizza or virtually every secular, God-is-dead liberal in Califonira chowing down on a double double at In-And-Out? The more people don’t live their lives as dogmatic ideologues, the better we’ll all be.
It’s only republican capitalists that have any business carrying a designer handbag. For a socialist/collectivist to do so would be hypocritical, which is not allowed.

By the way, if you folks haven’t read Ann’s latest, ‘Demonic’, yet, you are missing-out on one of the greatest American books ever written. I love you, Ann! Marry me, and I’ll do the research on your next book for minimum wage or shares of CBS!
I agree with Axe. A wonderful picture of Ann. It captures her personality at least as much as her physical appearance.
